BIO Monthly (Jan 2025): $BIO Launch, V1 Launchpad, Curetopia on Solana, Nootropics & Agentic DeSci
January was a historic month for the Bio ecosystem: the BIO token went live on Ethereum and Solana, laying the groundwork for the launch of Bio's new launchpad and liquidity protocol. Long COVID Labs raised $2.6m in its $COVID auction while kicking off its first treatment studies. A new batch of BioDAOs was announced for incubation and upcoming launches in the network, including Curetopia as the first Solana-native BioDAO, Nootropics DAO and SpineDAO. Meanwhile, existing BioDAOs opened new labs, funded groundbreaking research and experiments and deployed products in longevity, psychedelics, brain health, synthetic biology, fertility and more. The surge of activity fueled 420%+ monthly user growth on Bio's app, with new front-end features shipped on Bio's Launchpad, Portfolio and DeSci Dashboard.
