It's been a little over a week since BIO went live Jan. 3 on Ethereum & Binance. Then last Thursday Jan. 9, BIO officially bridged to Solana. The focus now turns to deploying Bio's liquidity protocol & launchpad cross-chain (Base included), BIO staking & curation, and growing the Bio treasury by developing our growing network of BioDAOs (latest being Long COVID Labs).

  • Long COVID Labs launched the $COVID Token Auction on the BIO launchpad, recently crossing $500k raised. Led by current & former Stanford researchers, LCL is accelerating a cure for Long COVID. LCL is giving as rewards 1% of the $COVID supply to $BIO holders who participate in the auction with WETH (must have held $BIO on Jan 8).

  • VitaRNA initiated a $1M fundraise for their gene therapy project with a 9-month lock-up period and a 50% discount.
  • Pump Science and VitaDAO are launching new drug compounds in February, seeking drug developers for operations & marketing; Pump Science also partnered with Hedgehog Market to create prediction markets for experiments.
  • BIO x NuDAO partnership to advance DeSci and genomics agents, involving a token allocation to Bio's treasury, shared resources and BioDAO integration.
  • CerebrumDAO launched its MITY IP-Tokens to raise funding and develop IP/patents for its Neuon-Fission Treatments for Inflammatory Disease.

  • PsyDAO launched staking; more than 80% of the circulating supply is staked.
  • HairDAO is set to launch their telehealth platform, Anagen, and bringing the first hair loss drugs onchain in two weeks.
  • AthenaDAO announced a collaboration with MeritoNetwork to accelerate fertility research in Asia.
