- Bio V1 went live Tuesday on Solana & Base, kicking off the first ever community-curated BioDAOs. Over 2.5M BIO was locked in the first day and over 3.2M BIO curated so far. - The Bio x AI Hackathon, sponsored by the Solana Foundation, elizaOS, Prime Intellect, & OriginTrail is kicking off next week in Berlin, offering $125K+ in prizes for building scientific AI agents. The hackathon is fully virtual and global - apply here.
- Curetopia raised $1.77M from over 1,000 participants & launched their $CURES token on Solana to fund decentralized trials and drug repurposing for rare diseases. They also successfully conducted a yeast-powered test-flight screen uncovering a potential treatment for AARS2 deficiency, with a provisional patent filing underway.

- SpineDAO are launching their $SPINE token on Solana through the Bio V1 launchpad, starting with their curation phase hitting the 2.25M BIO curation limit within hours of Bio V1's launch. Next up, they enter the $SPINE auction funding phase, where successful funding will grant pre-sale $SPINE tokens to BIO curators. They also shared a progress update highlighting website enhancements, $SPINE token curation, product development for faster patient access, global outreach by key DAO figures at the AAOS annual meeting & more.
- MycoDAO was announced as a new BioDAO advancing biotech breakthroughs using mycelium and mushrooms. Myco's decentralized platform for open fungal data and equipment accelerates the discovery of fungi-based medicines, materials, and biotech. They launched their curation phase with 817K+ BIO curated on the Bio Launchpad, allowing users to acquire $MYCO tokens at a discounted price using BIO, $SOL, or $BTC, followed by an auction. Myco's first project, Project Oyster uses mycelium to tackle the U.S. sewage crisis and nitrogen pollution.
- ReflexDAO started the whitelist phase of curation, reaching 114K+ in BIO so far on the Bio Launchpad. They also released their litepaper and one-pager outlining how they are creating a decentralized platform using wearables to monitor the autonomic nervous system, detect diseases early, and empower data ownership.
- Curetopia raised $1.77M from over 1,000 participants & launched their $CURES token on Solana. The DAO announced they had uncovered potential treatments to AARS2, paving the way to the first DeSci-native disease cure. - Quantum Biology DAO bridged QBIO to Solana, are in the final stages of setting up their lab in Los Angeles, presented at the Quantum Biology Gordon Research Conference, and introduced their new head of ops.
🌐 Network Updates
- VitaDAO's VitaLabs Season 2 started - Apply to get your longevity research funded. VitaDAO-backed Turn Bio acquired Vesigen’s Harvard-developed microvesicle technology enhancing precision in mRNA-based epigenetic reprogramming therapies. Their VITA-FAST proposal to invest $135K and initiate the next steps of the project, to identify a lead candidate, define targets, and file IP was approved. VitaRNA also progressed with their CRO shipping RNA from various tissues to track Artan-102 delivery, and doing potency testing, with results soon. They also developed the Longevist AI Agent (LAIA) to autonomously curate longevity preprints and collaborate with VitaLabs.
- HairDAO, operating the largest human tissue lab in the U.S., took 475 photos across 3 donors in one of their most promising in-house studies across 60 culture wells, including siRNA testing, analyzing 25 hair follicles with RNA sequencing & testing 26 others. They are also conducting parallel studies on treatments like Twist inhibitors, optimized topical dutasteride, and TRH formulas in multiple countries. HairDAO also allocated $1 million USD and $3 million in $HAIR tokens to expand their full-time team & already hired their new CMO. They also launched the "Hair Rewards" program, offering rewards of up to 30% in $HAIR tokens.
- ValleyDAO shared the first Hempy data drop, including a breakthrough in softening hemp fibers using enzyme treatments. Their Hempy project unveiled SnoopHaze, an AI-woven, fireproof, smokable hemp textile with self-lighting features, and CBD face mask functionality. Their portfolio organization, SiriusBio, secured a contract for metabolic engineering. The DAO also announced hiring for an Entrepreneur in Residence, initiated Hempy-branded hemp clothing merch, and kicked off their Proof of DeSci series.
- PsyDAO's BeeARD project is hosting an AI x Science Hackathon with Google on April 14 in Wroclaw, Poland, to build AI-powered systems generating scientific hypotheses, with mentorship, prizes, and networking opportunities - Apply by April 6, 2025. BeeARD AI is also initiating AI-driven discovery starting with knowledge graphs and longevity in collaboration with Coordination Network & launched a new website & docs. PsyDAO also launched a staking program, offering up to 6154.52% APY for staking $PSY to earn $BeeARD.

- Cerebrum DAO minted their third IP-NFT, "Transfidelity for Protein Stability," and signed the sponsored research agreement for the project targeting neurodegenerative diseases by improving protein translation accuracy to prevent toxic aggregates. They also hosted an event in Bangkok, offering an afternoon of networking, local brews, and canapés for DeSci enthusiasts, founders, VCs, and researchers.
- AthenaDAO's funded research was featured in TIME, suggesting that ovarian tissue cryopreservation and transplantation could delay menopause by 10–47 years & improve health outcomes, and has led to the launch of a reproductive longevity startup. They also hosted a DeSci community day with ArkHaus in Istanbul, exploring how DeSci is transforming scientific funding, transparency, and collaboration, featuring panels, talks, and networking. Further, their Fertility 101 Course participants are minting NFTs for access to Season 2 of the course.
- Molecule co-hosted a AB4AD Community Call with Daniel Bar and VitaDAO discussing the latest project updates. They also posted a blog post exploring how DeSci can break down the silos of academia, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, innovation, and reviving the polymathic legacy of figures like da Vinci and Curie. They also recorded a new podcast episode with Graham Pechenik on how patents and IP shape the future of psychedelic medicine like LSD and psilocybin.
